Well worth the effort of getting your bikes out there. We have done it many times. We tried, but it was NOT going to happen. greater Vancouver on 29 August, thousands of people were without electricity, us included. We only had seven hours without power \u2013 we know families that were without power for two days! Crews of workers came in all the way from Prince George to help restore utilities. So clearly, the authorities have other priorities to see to.
