While this is a sad indictment on the nature of some humans, it also makes <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2rJNACq\"><strong><em>Don\u2019t Forget Me<\/em><\/strong><\/a> an even more important book. The first part records the journey across North America that Barnes undertook \u2013 detailing her tireless detective work as she tracked down ghost bikes in over 50 cities, working on a shoestring As Barnes puts it, \u201cI started photographing Ghost Bikes because you can pass a memorial hundreds of times and eventually forget what it represents &#8230; Ghost Bikes symbolize &#8230; lost lives
