Also, there are many different rear wheel and brakes set-ups. I did.<\/p>\n<h2>Video Showing a Man with No Hands Fixing a Flat Bike Tire<\/h2>\n<p>Finally, if you still need some inspiration, watch this video of <strong>a man with NO HANDS fixing a flat bike tire<\/strong>. It\u2019s from the YouTube Channel of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCxqCp2Q9H070-NX2g_KCHiQ\">Hector Picard<\/a><\/strong>. Picard is an internationally-known motivational speaker and triathlete who lost both arms in an electrical accident. My own father had just one hand, and impressed me all his life with how he did not let this slow him down. And Picard has no hands at all, and still changes a bike tire faster than I can. Wow! There&#8217;s no shame in taking a cab or an Uber once in a while. If you do have to order a cab or an Uber, be sure to specify that you need a vehicle that can transport your bike as well.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"title\" class=\"a-size-large a-spacing-none\">Tip 2: Carry a Suitable Bike Pump<\/h3>\n<p class=\"a-size-large a-spacing-none\">Every cyclist should have two great pumps. One <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3LWmHBa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>mini-pump<\/strong><\/a> to carry on your bike, and one heavy duty <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3FN9Z9n\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>floor pump<\/strong><\/a> for use at home (because the little ones are really hard work).<\/p>\n<h4>Recommended Mini-Pump<\/h4>\n<p class=\"a-size-large a-spacing-none\">For the mini-pump <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3LWmHBa\">I highly recommend the BV mini pump,<\/a><\/strong><span id=\"productTitle\" class=\"a-size-large\"> which is light, high-quality, and has a single head that instantly adapts to both Schrader and Presta valves. The last mentioned is really important for me &#8211; I don&#8217;t want to be fiddling with adapters on the side of the road. Or worse still &#8211; finding out that the pump I have with me doesn&#8217;t fit the valve on the bike I am riding that day. This mighty little pump also ships with a mounting bracket and Velcro to keep the pump securely on your bike frame, handy for whenever you might need it.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Recommended Floor Pump<\/h4>\n<p class=\"a-size-large a-spacing-none\">For your <strong>floor pump<\/strong> (also called a track pump), you want something strong (steel or aluminum). It should have a firm base, a clear gauge that you can see clearly while standing up, and a comfortable, sturdy handle. Again, I prefer one that easily adapts to <span id=\"productTitle\" class=\"a-size-large\">both Schrader and Presta valves.
