I have been looking for some more stylish cycling clothes for quite some time. Full lycra\/spandex is just not appropriate to meet for lunch or run errands. It hasn\u2019t been easy to find pants that look good but are also functional. I want something quite styling &#8211; but on the other hand, I\u00a0did not\u00a0want to look like a Pearl Jam refugee in mountain bike attire either. This hasn\u2019t been easy. However, I am really happy with the Showers Pass Rogue Cycling Pants. I looked there because I really liked the<a href=\"https:\/\/averagejoecyclist.com\/showers-pass-womens-cycling-jacket-review\/\"> Shower\u2019s Pass cycling jacke<\/a>t I purchased earlier this year. I started by looking at the women&#8217;s pants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Sadly, in the women\u2019s line I found the same tapered, tight fitting, unflattering pants carried by almost everyone. I\u2019m not sure why Showers Pass only offers these in the men\u2019s section, but luckily these pants fit my body well. (Note that the pics way above are NOT me. Apparently this means: \u201c1 STAR garments will at least be treated with a Durable Water Repellant (DWR) \ufb01nish and\/or have a tight weave and design that will provide some water repellency.\u00a0 Great for short rides in light\/intermittent precipitation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">However, my\u00a0Rogue Cycling Pants <strong>kept me dry during a particularly wet ride<\/strong>, so I think that the Showers Pass description does not do them justice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I like the reflective detail on the hem, which is a nice little safety feature.
